FULL TIME ADMINISTRATOR – GLASGOW HEAD OFFICE

Operating throughout the UK, Ireland and overseas, we investigate the origin and cause of fires and explosions and other accidents or failures on land and at sea. Our clients trust us to respond rapidly and deliver conclusive reports, robust evidence and expert testimony of the highest technical standard in courts throughout the world.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Administrator to join the IFIC team in our Glasgow office (Newton Mearns).
This individual will provide administrative support to all aspects of the business, with the main focus being on case administration and supporting our investigators with all their administrative requirements – recording information on our case management system, arranging travel and accommodation, receiving new instruction from clients and reception duties.
Other areas you will be assisting with are Health & Safety, Quality, Marketing and organising materials for events and maintaining records of evidence held in our forensic stores. Experience in these areas would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role requires strong people and organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a small support team. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and a flexible and practical approach are key qualities. You should have strong IT skills (particularly in the main Microsoft packages) and the ability to readily pick up new tools and packages.
We offer a family-friendly environment. Hours will be 40 per week, typically 8.30am -5.30pm (Monday to Friday) with a degree of flexibility. Salary will depend on experience but will be up to £25k per annum.
